Q: What is @Pak?
Each Application Package or @Pak™ is a complete standalone mini-application. It can be deployed as an Intranet, SharePoint hosted, or Internet application. The @Pak consists of InfoPath (local) forms, InfoPath Web Service forms, XML schemas, SQL Database, SQL Stored Procedures, and SQL Reporting Services reports. The features and functions for the local form and the web service form are identical. All @Paks are available in VB.Net or C#.Net.

Q: Are @Paks managed code?
Yes. Programming uses the InfoPath 2007 Object Model (OM). Programs are written in VB.Net or C#.Net (determined by license).

Yes. The source code is included with a paid license.

Q: How many users can use a @Pak license?
Unlimited. The license applies to the enterprise.

Q: How long is the warranty period?
The warranty 90 days with a paid license. After the warranty period, yearly maintenance agreements are available for 15% of original license fee per year.

Q: What documentation is included?
Each @Pak includes an Application User’s Guide, @Templates Setup Guide, @Templates Deployment Guide, and @Templates Programming Guide.

Q: Are @Paks deployed as full trust?
Yes. @Pak templates can be deployed as an installable form, distributed as a single executable, or the form templates can be digitally signed and then deployed.

Q: Can a @Pak be deployed to SharePoint?
Yes. Templates can be deployed as an Intranet, SharePoint hosted, or Internet application. SQL can be network hosted or via Web Service – both versions are included for all forms.

Q: Can @Paks run on Forms Services?
No. The templates will not run in the browser. New products in the future may be browser capable however current products do not support Forms Services.
